Levi

Male, est DOB fall 2022, potentially Chi/Pug/Terrier mix

We are officially accepting applications for our sweet boy LEVI! Levi came to us from an overcrowded rural shelter, and he is truly an exceptional little guy.

He's estimated to be about 1-3 years old and weighs 20 lbs. My best *guesses* on his breed include Chihuahua, pug, Boston terrier, and Jack Russell.

Please read carefully for all the info on Levi, and what he needs in a home!

-Levi is a very snuggly, sweet guy that deserves the perfect home! He's smart, curious, silly, and wants to be near his human all the time. He's has adjusted amazingly to living in a house!

-Obedience training: Levi is SMART and VERY food motivated. Sometimes it gets in the way of his focus because he's so excited. He's learning basic commands and doing great so far. He'll need someone patient and committed to continue working on his manners and basic obedience.

-Housetraining: Levi is doing great with house training! He picked it up very quickly and has not had accidents indoors.

-Crate training: Levi goes into his crate at night. When his foster leaves the house, he will bark and whine when put in the crate. When not in the crate and left in the house, he's shown no signs of chewing or other problematic behaviors.

-Other animals: He does great with female dogs and was very excited/interested with males, but takes corrections from other dogs well. Other dogs must come for a meet and greet before adoption. Levi has met plenty of cats, and shows a healthy level of caution.

-Other information: Levi does have some sensitivity in his back legs and paws. Because of this, we will only allow Levi to go to a home with dog savvy children over the age of around 10.

He is a runner, and if not on a leash or fenced in yard he will not stay around.

Levi has been treated for fleas and parasites, received all of his core vaccines, tested negative for heartworms, and is neutered.

Levi is an exceptional dog, and needs an exceptional home. If you'd like to apply for Levi, you can do so below!

Electric Slide

Male, est DOB March 2024, "Party Dances" Litter

Meet Electric Slide of the "Party Dances" litter!

Electric Slide is a speedy and playful kitten sure to win your heart! He can be skittish at first but with a little patience he'll quickly plop down and demand cuddles. He absolutely loves playing with dangling toys and can go after a string toy for hours. Electric Slide has the prettiest belly markings that he loves to show off and is a big fan of belly rubs.

All Tiny Paws RVA kittens are treated for fleas and parasites, tested for FIV/FELV, receive age appropriate vaccines (additional vaccines are the responsibility of the adopter), and are fixed before being adopted.

Kittens must be indoor only and keep their claws. If adopting a single kitten, you must already have an active cat at home.

If you'd like to apply for Electric Slide, you can do so below!

Nemo

Male, est DOB June 2024

Meet Nemo!

Nemo was found near a construction site by some kind people. He had a bunch of burns and scrapes, but he healed up just fine and now he's ready to find his forever home!

Nemo loves to be around other cats and kittens. He plays hard and loves to go wild! He wrestles, usually turning into grooming sessions, and he goes wild for any toys he can get his paws on. He's shy with people, preferring to take his time checking them out before he comes to hang out. Once he settles, he's usually near his foster mom on a soft blanket to take a nap in comfort. He has the sweetest face and tends to take his time checking out new people.

All Tiny Paws RVA kittens are treated for fleas and parasites, tested for FIV/FELV, received age appropriate vaccines (additional vaccines are the responsibility of the adopter), and are fixed.

Kittens must be indoor only and keep their claws.
If adopting a single kitten from this litter you MUST have an active, confident cat at home.

If you'd like to apply for Nemo, you can do so below!

Marshmallow Fluff

Male, est DOB June 2024

MARSHMALLOW FLUFF is looking for his perfect family!

This little guy was trapped at a colony but was too nice to put back outside.

Marshmallow Fluff LOVES to play! He'll play with toys all by himself, leaping and throwing them around. He'll chase a wand toy for as long as you'll play with him. He just wants to play!

He'll come up to you for tentative pets and scratches, and once he realizes you'll be sweet to him he arches his back and starts to purr! He does need someone willing to work with him to help him increase his confidence but he's going to get there in time!

He's been hanging out with other kittens are does great. He was unfazed when they hissed at him and he respectfully gave them space. He's starting to play with them more and wants to be friends. He also became friends with a bunny (not available!), which was pretty darn cute.

This little easy going guy would do best in a home with other cats and chill people. No party animals for him.

All Tiny Paws RVA kittens are treated for fleas and parasites, tested for FIV/FELV, received age appropriate vaccines (additional vaccines are the responsibility of the adopter), and are fixed.

Kittens must be indoor only and keep their claws.

Turnip

Female, est DOB March 2024, "Vegetable Litter"

Meet Turnip of the Vegetable Litter!

This litter had quite the adventurous rescue (you can read about it here!) but they've been living a spoiled life in foster since then, and are finally ready to find their forever homes! This litter is incredibly sweet, but a little timid, and needs patient, calm families to let them warm up on their own time.

Turnip was caught almost 2 weeks after the rest of her siblings were! She took a little extra time to warm up and trust people, and needs a patient family that understands she needs time to settle in and move at her own pace. She hates to be picked up, but will come up to you when she's ready for attention and sit next to you waiting for pets. She's incredibly smart and is always watching everything else going on around her. To get her to purr is to know you've finally met her trust and approval, and it's worth the wait!

The Vegetable kittens have been treated for fleas and parasites, tested negative for FIV/FELV, received age appropriate vaccines (additional vaccines are the responsibility of the adopter), and are fixed.

Kittens must be indoor only and keep their claws.
We are prioritizing adopters who want to adopt a PAIR of the Vegetable kittens.
If adopting a single kitten from this litter you MUST have an active, confident cat at home.

If you'd like to apply for Turnip, you can do so below!

Roach and her siblings came to us from a rural, Southwest Virginia shelter.

Roach is the little explorer with a heart full of curiosity! This sweet kitten can turn anything into a toy, and she’s always up for a game with her siblings! When she’s not busy adventuring, you’ll find her curled up on the porch rocking chair watching everything going on! Roach is also a cuddle champion and adores being petted. She’s even trying to charm the adult cats in the house.

Kittens must be indoor only and keep their claws. If adopting a single kitten, you must already have an active cat at home. We'd love to see a pair of Bug kittens go home as a pair!

Worm is the king of goofiness and sweetness all rolled into one perfect package! He zooms around the house like a little rocket, chasing his sisters and making everyone laugh. When he's ready for a break, this bird-watching enthusiast loves nothing more than gazing out the window seeing what's going on. And when he’s ready for a nap, don’t be surprised when he ends up in your lap.

Fidget

Male, est DOB June 2024, "Bat Kittens" Litter

Meet Fidget of the Bat litter!

These kittens were hanging out in a ravine between some busy streets, and thankfully a former Tiny Paws RVA adopter scooped them up and offered to foster them.

These three boys are super sweet and friendly, and purr the minute you sit down with them. Fidget is feisty, but funny! To him, everything in life is a fun toy. He picks the biggest toys to play with and drags them around the house. He plays with his food before eating it. He's a lively guy who wants to have a good time!

If you're looking for a pair, two of the Bat kittens would be a great choice!

Koda

Male, est DOB June 2024, "Bat Kittens" Litter

Meet Koda of the Bat litter!

These kittens were hanging out in a ravine between some busy streets, and thankfully a former Tiny Paws RVA adopter scooped them up and offered to foster them.

These three boys are super sweet and friendly, and purr the minute you sit down with them. Koda is a lover, and the sweetest little guy. He purrs when he hears someone talking or makes eye contact with him. He loves to be pet and he'll purr the second you put your hand on him. He's a fan of a good sprint around the house, but he'll quickly find his way back to you for more attention!

All Tiny Paws RVA kittens are treated for fleas and parasites, tested for FIV/FELV, receive age appropriate vaccines (additional vaccines are the responsibility of the adopter), and are fixed before being adopted.

Crunchwrap Supreme

Male, est DOB June 2024, "Taco Bell" Litter

Meet Crunchwrap Supreme of the "Taco Bell" litter!

Crunchwrap Supreme is playful and bold! He plays hard, wrestling with his siblings, and chases after toy springs. When he needs a break, he likes hanging out in the window watching the birds outside. He loves to snuggle, and he'll let you know when he's ready for that by yelling to his foster parents to demand attention. He's easygoing and has done great with a (cat friendly, well supervised) toddler, so she might be perfect for a home with kids!

All Tiny Paws RVA kittens are treated for fleas and parasites, tested for FIV/FELV, receive age appropriate vaccines (additional vaccines are the responsibility of the adopter), and are fixed before being adopted.

Coconut

Males, Est DOB July 2023

Coconut Diablo Forever (gray) and Agua Picante (white) came to us from the same colony as our Whimsy litter, Poirot, and sweet Bijou. In fact, we are almost certain these boys are Bijou's brothers! We trapped them a little older, so they came to us much more timid and under socialized. However, He quickly decided the housecat life was for him!!

He has a calm demeanor and is a sweet, funny, playful boy. His
best friend is a rubber wheel. He takes the wheel to the top of the stairs and drops it.
Then he chases it to the bottom of the steps. He loves pets, snuggles and treats.

Coconut has been treated for fleas and parasites, vaccinated, is FIV/FELV negative, and is fixed. They must keep their claws and be an inside only cat.

Coconut

Males, Est DOB July 2023

Coconut was trapped in October of last year, and he was quite spicy. He was still a baby, and we hated the idea of putting him back outside, so a wonderful woman stepped up to foster him.

His foster mom, Susan, worked with him for months and though it took some time, he suddenly turned into the sweetest cat. Susan often jokes he's the most "zen" cat she's had.

Unfortunately, this guy continues to be overlooked and he's stayed in his foster home, waiting to be adopted. But a few months ago, Susan noticed a lump on his tail. We tried antibiotics, we tried other things, but the lump continued to grow. We scheduled surgery for it to be removed, and while we were waiting for surgery day to get here, it kept growing.

When Coconut was finally able to have the surgery, the mass was big enough that to her good margins our vet did have to amputate the majority of Coconut's tail.

Now fully recovered from surgery, coconut is doing great. He's totally adjusted to having a shorter tail, or a nubbins, if you will. We got great news that our vet did get great margins and there is no further cancer. Technically there is always a chance that it could come back, but he foresees Coconut having a long, cancer-free life.

We're going to pretend that having a tail was the only thing getting in the way of Coconut finding a family. So now that that pesky tail is out of the way, surely he will find a new home ASAP!

Coconut has been treated for fleas and parasites, vaccinated, is FIV/FELV negative, and is fixed. They must keep their claws and be an inside only cat.

Brujeria

Female, Est DOB July 2023

Brujeria came to Tiny Paws at 3 months old with her brother Infinite Ghost. They were
found outside a brewery and were completely feral. While Brujeria’s brother turned
friendly quite quickly, Brujeria was extremely wary of people.

Through time (it took 5 months for her to decide she wanted pets), patience, love and lots of treats she has become the sweetest girl. She is sassy, playful, funny, and sweet. When she first came to Tiny Paws we had to pet her with a spatula because she was so feral. Now, she demands pets and throws her whole body at you to receive them.

Brujeria has been treated for fleas and parasites, vaccinated, is FIV/FELV negative, and is fixed. They must keep their claws and be an inside only cat.
